Save Calgary will be joining with other No Olympics groups and City Councillors on Saturday, November 10th to rally against Calgary's 2026 Winter Olympics bid.
The Vote #NOOOOO rally is a chance to show the establishment that everyday Calgarians are fed-up with higher taxes and don't want the financial risk associated with hosting the Winter Olympics.
Here are the rally details:
10:30am - 12:00pm
Saturday, November 10, 2018
Olympic Plaza (228 8 Avenue SE, Calgary)
Speakers at the event include City Councillors Sean Chu, Jeromy Farkas, and Joe Magliocca, NO Calgary Olympics, Franco Terrazzano from the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, Peter McCaffrey from the Alberta Institute, Megan McCaffrey from Common Sense Calgary, and Save Calgary's own William McBeath.
While the YES side may have buckets of money and city insiders and elites on their side, we have the legions of hardworking everyday Calgarians who see this Olympics for what it really is - a two-week luxury party for the political special interests paid for by our tax dollars.

We're going to send City Hall the message that these Olympics are too costly and pose too much risk for Calgarians.
Let's Just Say No, and on November 13th, vote #NOOOOO to Calgary's Olympics madness.
