Mayor Nenshi plays the 'vote for me or you're racist' card
That's the message Mayor Nenshi is giving to Calgarians this thanksgiving weekend...at least it was until he had the video, posted by Mashood Qazi, deleted after backlash. Fortunately for the voters of Calgary, the CBC saved a copy.
Here's a 45-sec clip of the video of Nenshi on "people who might be racist, or haters." Full story: https://t.co/q7Ixxsr7OE #yyccc #yycvote pic.twitter.com/TsuUYtUW31

“They don’t want a city that is so inclusive of everyone and it is absolutely incumbent on us to hold on to the city we are proud of to make sure that we vote,”
“We know they are using a lot of technology to get people who don’t believe in diversity to get people who might be racists or haters out to vote.”
“A lot of them have comments and are proliferating comments that are inflammatory, that are frankly racist.”
At 17 points down in the polls behind Bill Smith, Mayor Nenshi appears to be getting desperate.
